i currently have a 1999 jetta wolfsburg with 49k miles that i am goin to be selling soon and i am wondering which year you guys think is the best for a tsi talon

Just get the best condition one with the least amount of miles. 97-98 would be good for doing mods to it. Because it has different headlights. Other than that just buy it and drive it.

93 tsi awd all the way plus the just came out with a body kit for so practically no one has , plus the look the best

my 2 cents is go with a 92 1/2 best of both worlds. you have the 6 bolt motor and 4 bolt rear. awd of course. but if you arent looking for a 1g just make sure you get awd you wont get traction with fwd after you start modding it.

91-94 tsi awd. Lighter then the 2g's and no crankwalk coming from the 6 bolt motors. :smokin:

true but not completely 93 and 94 have 7 bolt motors crank walk is possible. though my theory about crankwalk is everyone who has a motor problem claims it crankwalk just because it is a known problem.
