Newbie Competition

Hey!
OK I know im a newbie, but I thought that everyone whos new should have a chance to show off what they know and have learnt. If you are not a newbie to photoshop/this forum, then please don't take part.
THE RULES
1: ONLY new people to photoshop/this forum
2: Anything can be done to the car, there are no limits
3: Please only use the car given
4: Have Fun!
The deadline for you all to get your pic up is: [B][U] August 30th. On August 30th please email your chopped pic to: [email protected] . If it is too big to send just post it here. Also if you are in please say so before the 20th of this month, so you can have 10 days to work on it.

If no newbies have entered by 19th of this month then yeah sure it will be an open competition for anyone. If your not a newbie and want to be on standby in case no newbies enter then speak up.

This has to be the dumbest idea... You make big comps that include everyone so that the noobs can learn off of their mistakes and take in some knowledge from the advanced people.. In a noobie comp you are not learning anything, just how terrible noobies are.

Hmmm some good points there, BUT: If there is a comp with DSi and De$i Gank$ta in, newbies will be put off entering, so they will never learn and never be able to compete and see how they do compared with other people. Still all standby people are on standby, all newbies can compete.
And who says if there is a newbie competition they won't learn? The mistakes will be checked and I will tell them what to improve. Just because I havent been chopping for that long doesnt mean I can't spot mistakes in peoples work. i have experiance with web design and other computer related things, so i am competent with computers.

I'm new here but I dont care if it's a newbie competition, I dont care if those guys join. Im in.

Hey I dont know if it's too late or not, but I've used my ps about 10 times, and I still really suck at it, so I'm going to have a go at this, if I'm too late, or someone doesnt want me in here, PM me ASAP, so that I know not to post. But yeah, I've never been in a comp before, and I really want to learn, so I'mma try it.

No I understand too, it was killin me, and I'm just about to give up, I cant do it. I have extreme sideskirts, extreme rear bumper, and a complete skyline front end conversion, but I cant get any of the colors to match. I guess I just suck at it...

You can either do the BMW 3 series that I replaced the VW with, because putting it on a diff background works, but it just looks horrible.... when i try to rub out the white around it its hard to tell whats car and whats not and it just doesnt work...... sorry...i tried.

heh its made for the people driving ahead of you....so when they look in their rear view mirrors they will see the designers names........it seems to work alot better......and seems alot more flashier...... :iceslolan

All the entries from those people will be judged in their own class. The winner from each class will be put head to head, to win the new title (lol) of "Winner of AF mixed chop final 2003" that was off the top of my head PM me with ideas.
