How to sell 88 Bonneville?

Hi there!

I am trying to sell 88 Bonneville. I never sold a car before so I literally don't know where to start. Plus, a car was idle for a while and it does not have neither insurance nor plates now (so there is a problem with folks wishing to take it for a test drive). There is one part, namely crank shaft, that should be replaced, otherwise it's a great car and runs great.

I will appreciate any advising on how to sell this baby. Apparently, I am not expecting more than $1000 but I am rather stuck on where to start and how to do it right.

I am wondering if it's worth in my situation to ask small used cars lots to purchase it?

Thanks everybody in advance!
