Help???

why is there a asterisk on the right of my username where I can see my username in "who's online", has this happened to anyone lse or is it just me, is it about special option's i have or that i might become a mod, im clueless as to what * mean's, this is what i see on "who's online" : omegasky*, please help me out, what does this mean?
