VW New Beetle Completed

This is my 99% finished New Beetle.
It is painted in Grabber Green with engine enamel paint.
It has been lowered a little bit and the brakes and the brakes mounting points were filed down to get the wheel/tires inside the fenders.
Wheels were Fujimi Versus EU.

Latter I will take some outdoors pictures.

Well the B pillar in the Tamiya kit came with the side windows.
I broke one of these windows and finish the model thinking that later I can either cut the front half of the windows and keeping and installing the windows from the B pillars to the rear window or order the replacement window tree from Tamiya. :uhoh:

But looking at the model that way it looks like a hardtop (think of the 60īs chevys like the belair). I like it that way. ( Do you notice that the rag top Beetle came with a little chrome trim as B pillar!?
