The V6 Coug is slower than the normal

The V6 cougar dose the quarter mile at 16.2sec.
While the regular one dose it at 15.9sec.
And i though i was going to get a V6 but now I think im going for the normal one. It also so cheaper.

well let me straighten this out..........the v6 automatic and the I4 Manual have comparable 1/4 mile times. but the V6 manual is definitly faster than the I4 Manual.
note: i didn't mention the I4 automatic b/c there are very few of them out there but well they are very very slow.
in short, the auto tranny in the cougars suck i should know b/c i have one.

The mtx-75 V6 cougar does the 1/4 mile in 15.9 sec. Check an old issue of road and track and youll see thats what its listed at. The CD4E V6 cougar is much slower than that, probably high 16s, low 17s. The mtx-75 zetec cougar is faster than the automatic V6.
