Would there be any reason to put on in my STD hatch?

STDs had no anti-sway bars at all. DX had an 18mm front, and Si had 19mm front and a rear (soda straw sized). Its actually better to have a smaller front and larger rear. I would try and find a DX front sway and than get yourself like a suspension techniques 22mm rear.

From what I understand, the civic suspension is set up for either understeer or oversteer (I can never remember which or the difference between the two), but it's best to go with a rear sway-bar first as far as handling goes.

I can never remember which it has but I think its oversteer. Bigger rear sway bar helps to counter act that.
However I would get some kind of sway bar period as it reduces body roll and makes your car more stable at high speeds.

all FF cars have UNDERSTEER, as they tend to not turn as much as you steer, RWD cars have oversteer cuz they do the opposite

Thanks for the info, I will go down to the junkyard sometime.
I have a 91, would any sway bar from an 88-91 Civic/crx work?
And as for the rear, are there any I could pick up while I am there from any other Hondas or Acuras?

:iagree: larger rear sway bars on FWD will help create oversteer. Which is a very good thing. large front will make understeer even worse than it all ready is.
