This is my first post I've been lurking here for a bit so hi..

I recently bought a used 1999 acura integra gsr. Got it checked out at a dealership and they did a tune up and everything and said everything was fine. I then ordered a k&n air filter and a few weeks later it showed up.

I'm not that good with cars; in fact this is my first car that I've completely owned. Anyway, I opened up the air filter box found that there was no air filter, just a cloth like fabric in the tube which was reallly didn't look like it did much. the cloth was kinda held on by the plastic part of an air filter that had the filter part torn off

Wtf should I do?? it's obvious the dealership didn't check the air filter. Is my engine fucked? what should I get done to it? btw I bought the car with 54k on it and have driven it for about 1500 miles since getting it "tuned up." The engine seems fine to me I guess it idles a little rough but nothing that screams fix me.

ask the dealership (esp. if it was na acura dealership) for the original inspection records. If the checked that the air filter was good, you can FUCK them for lying.
