maintenance on a turbo engine

how often should you change the oil in a turbo engine, in this case the DET? :D any other special care i should be aware of such as taking care of the turbo? what kind of oil should i use for oil changes? when should i flush the cooling system?

You should change the oil just the same as you would any other car; at 3000 miles. Only differece would be how often you check the oil level. I check my oil level once a week.

a lot of people would tell you that a turbo engine is a bitch to maintain...but it's not true, all you have to do is make sure you change oil every 3k miles and try not to go over it. Just like APEXSER said, check the oil fluid often and u'll be okay.
