Looking for LSD

I have a 2003 Pathfinder SE that I thought had a limited-slip differential (I bought it used - 3000 miles). I finally spen the back wheel on jackstands and found to my dismay that I do not.

I now have two questions:

Is there anywhere to get a LSD for my Path - other than a dealer special order - and are there any out there that might be better than the dealer version?

How difficult is it to install for someone who does their own maintenance? I don't tear engines apart, but I'm comfortable replacing brakes, sensors, etc.

Thanks for any input in advance, this is a great forum.

R50 Pathfinders(96-up) have a different model rear differential than the WD21 Pathfinders(90-95). You can't swap in a third member or limited slip diff from an earlier model. You could try a junkyard, but I bet they'd want an arm and a leg for one. To my knowledge, nobody makes an aftermarket limited slip for R50 Pathfinders, but you can look around at the Automotive Customizers Nissan BBS and ask, that might help.
