'94 Camry Cd Install

HI ALL!


NEED SOME HELP. I'M TRYING TO INSTALL A CD PLAYER IN MY FRIEND'S 94 CAMRY LE. SHE STILL HAS THE STOCK UNIT AND IM NOT SURE HOW TO REMOVE IT, OR HOW TO REMOVE THE DASH PANELS. I'VE DONE A FEW INSTALLS BEFORE ON HONDAS AND NISSANS, SO IF SOMEONE CAN GIVE ME DIRECTIONS YOU DONT HAVE TO DUMB THEM DOWN FOR ME. OR IF SOMEONE KNOWS A GOOD SITE I COULD VISIT WITH THIS INFORMATION, THAT WOULD ALSO BE APPRECIATED.

That definately helps a lot, but I'm still curious as to how I remove that U-shaped dash panel that goes around the tape deck. Can I just pry it off with a flat head or screwdriver?

I can't speak for Camry's, but on my car, thats all you have to do. Just be careful of those little clip/tab thingys behind the plastic that hold it in there. A small screwdriver should work to release all tabs/clips holding the dash panel on. Be sure to unscrew any screws, sometimes they are well hidden so check carefully.

but i got another problem anyone got the wireing diagram for the 94' camry im installing my friends radio for him and when i took his old radio out the fawker that installed his other headunit cut everything up so i need the wire diagram DOH!!!! thanks guys!!

hey i installed a cd player in my 94 le. u have to pop of the plastic around it. it just pops off. but u need an installation kit or something to put underneath the cd player. unless u bought a 2 din cd player. u see the old one is 2 din while most cd players are 1 din. i think this is what it is called. i had to buy a little pocket thing to go underneath it, but u can find it a www.crutchfield.com
