I was just wondering if you could wax over decals without a clearcoat.

Of course you can, but let the decals to dry well, a few days, cause if not....maybe you can rip them away with the cloth when you apply the wax if you're not very very carefull

Talked to a guy at our local contest that did exactly that. The results were amazing. Used tamiya wax and it looked beautiful. Make sure it's wax though, I don't think you'd want to try any sort of compound.

tHE GOOD THING ABOUT USING THE WAX OVER THE DECAL IS THAT IT REMOVES ANY WATER MARKS THAT ARE LEFT OVER AND HELPS TO POLISH THE DECAL GIVING IT A VERY NICE LOOK.
