You can bend any rim if you are not careful. Metal is pliable = remember physics? :)

PannAuto Performance in San Diego repairs wheels they dont do the work themselfs but they send em out and it takes a few days. :rolleyes:

From what I've heard, if youre gonna have a bent rim repaired, you might as well just buy a new one cuz the cost is about the same. There are of course exceptions to this generalization.

For the most part, yes, but not always. If you bend a rota, buy a new one. If you bend a 3-pc wheel (fikse, HRE, etc) buy a new lip or whatever you bent. If you bend a 1-pc forged wheel, buy a new one because they are never the same after you try to fix them. Only wheels i'd recommend having fixed are mid-priced cast wheels where it would be too much more to replace it, but it isn't forged so it's easily fixed.
