Here's the latest car I've built. First time taking and uploading pics of my stuff, so bear with it if it's fuzzy or whatever-- I'm new to the camera thing and I'm not so good at it. Hopefully, ya'll'll think I'm better at modelling than photographing though. This is my own car. Except, mine's a DX and this is supposed to be a Civic with a Spoon modified B18, Spoon rims, and other goodies put on.

Hope ya'll like. More later, as I take pics of my cars.

The harnesses look really good, so does the cf hood.
Well done man, keep up the good work.
Don't worry about the pics, they're fine.

Finally someone makes a JDM version instead of the riced one. Looks AWESOME man. Are those supposed to be Takata harnesses? If so they look great.

great job on the civic...one question...how did you get the carbon fiber to lay so well. I am currently having a hard time getting mine to lay right over the frond of the hood, I am even using microsol, and microset.

Yes, those are Takata harnasses. Used the detail master photoetch set, and took the decal sheet from the Mugen NSX to Kinkos and photocopied it so I could cut out the shoulder pads. Sad thing is, it took me weeks to solve that problem....

And as for the carbon fiber.... I just laid down a smooth coat of gloss black and applied it the decal that came with the kit (can you beleive it!?). Then I coated it with I think 4 layers of gloss clear. I didn't do that to the underside of the hood, so the CF between the ribs doesn't look nearly as good there. The leading edge of the hood was the trick, and there I just cut some darts in the decal and overlapped it. It's visible on close inspection. Truth be told, the entire car looks better in those pics than in real life...

Where'd you snag your crane decal from?

That's not the Revell kit, is it? There's no sunroof and no fog lights...
