66 Mustang Power Steering

I have a 66 Mustang V8 289 and I want to put true power steering in it but the kit to put it in is $2000. I was wondering if anybody knows of a replacement I could use for example putting a different model or makes power steering in the car with a few modifications. Is this possible if so what model and year and also where could I find out more about it? Thanks.
