Hey guys,
So after a summer of 65 hour work weeks, it is time for the Max's cherry to be popped (She is, after all, over a year old already). I'm thinking intake first, then exhaust, then wheels/tires. Any opinions are welcome! :bigthumb:

drop it and get new wheels and struts/shocks

drop it for a more agressive look,

and get an intake for an agressive growl

Get a stronger cams since the standard ones a re damn good but you can possible get better cams. I know they have them for the 350Z/G35. I would also suggest a coil-over kit to make the car handle better.

i'm saving for the stillen headers+downpipe. $850 for a supposed 25 Fwhp. sounds alright to me.

I suggest Greddy exhaust and Frankencar intake. Good luck.....

i've heard lots of good stuff about the frankencar, so i think that's what i'm gonna go with

i think the stillen headers make good gains, but $850? :22yikes: i think i'll wait until the hotshot headers come out, similar gains w/o the stillen price

you should look here. it's a dyno that compares a bunch of short ram intakes. it doesn't show frankencar though.

isn't injen cai? i thought injen was the one that required drilling through the wheel well

paonessa, those results look good for the weapon R, but they appear to be for a Honda engine, with the high RPM's and such...although weapon R took the cake in the lower RPM's, which is a good thing

no drilling required. but it is not a true CAI.. but i think it is stil better than a midpipe.

the sound is awesome, anyone with an injen please tell the man. nice growl that makes people turn their heads when you drive by them.
the gains the company claims is 10-12HP. i would say realistically any intake doesn't give more than a few HP gain. but on a nice cool day it gives a nice feel to the gas pedal. :iceslolan

get an ecu upgrade makes the mods work more effectively.

i don't have my Injen yet, but it's next on my list of mods... i did the drop/rims/tires/cv axles/alternator/redtop gel-cell/cross-drilled rotors all in one shot. next stage is engine work.
