will a b18a head interchange w/ b18b?

i can't afford the downtime to yank the head off my ls and buld it, so i've been shopping for a head. i found a good deal on a b18a head. it looks the same, connections are same on sensors, cams interchange, and it has the same head gasket. i'm not really concerned w/ obd differences as i will be using my stock manifold(after some modifications to flow and fuel delivery. i just need to know if this head has any internal differences eg. coolant and oil passages or intake and exhaust bolt patterns. can anyone help clear this up fo me? i'd hate to build a head that won't work in the end. thanks.

All B-series heads are swappable. For example, the Honda CRV is a B20, and people put a B16A head on those blocks to make a CR-Vtec.

yup, perfect fit. After it's on no one will be able to tell the difference. Even your valve cover should work too.
