need a little help

I just need some help here. i just puchased a tamiya gloss aluminum (TS-17) the problem is when ever i spray dont get an even colors, lets say dark areas and light shades... what should i do? 20 :apoke: 20

Did you shake the can for 2 minutes (or whatever it says on the can)?

Maybe the distance was too close?

If none of the above, try warming up the can a bit.

Its caused by not getting the paint on nice and even.
You will find the dark places the paint is thick, and the light areas are were the you have only sprayed a light coat on.

Primera Man has got it. You have to make sure you spray an even amount all over. My suggestion to you would be not to rush the paint job. Do it in coats if need be. That way, you really only need to touch up areas that didn't get enough the first time around.

TS-17 Aluminum is also touchy because it's metallic, and the "metallic" element of the paint likes to separate from the base. A few coats should even it all out.

Are you using aluminum for the body color (like on the box) or the chassis?

my 5th i use base colors,(lets say red, blue etc.) because it easier to use. Damn i shoulda used red..... any of u guys know any other similar site instead of supercars.net.
