opk, I got my 1997 accord LX sedan now and am gonna put my ADR sokudo 8's on it and I know it is gonna look funny as he!! because my friends 2nd gen teg with rims and not lowered looks like hes gonna go off road soon.

and I dont have enough money to get my sportlines/KYB AGX right now so I think since I have this much money left I am going to get these as a temporary solution. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33582&item=2427381533

my question is how long do you think Ill have before my stock shocks go out, I will probably have it dropped around 2.5-3" all around?

I got my truck for sale and then my civic is finished all but switching ECU's and wash/wax/vaccum and then I will have enough to either lower it properly or if I can deal with the harsh ride a bit longer and the shocks are still holding up I wanna swap in a H22 and have a few questions.

does the H22 intake manifold have the same fittings as the F22B2? I have a friend that I can hopefully borrow his sisters prelude VTEC to look and and that should help a bit. anybody know a site about this swap like the ones that go step by step of building CRVTEC's?

I say see if you can find the stock springs for your car on ebay, and if you can't it doesn't matter. You can cut your springs which is basically the same as coilovers. I would strongly recomend that you drop your car no more than 2 inches on the stock struts. If you do, your struts will last maybey 30,000 miles, when new. If you arn't racing, then cutting your springs is fine. Its pretty much the same as coilovers. But your struts will go quick.

oh thats fine, in 30k miles ill have enough cash to replace them wiht sportlines/KYB AGX.

and id rather spend the 60 bucks on those cheap coilovers than bother with cutting my springs.

best way to do mods is patience, whats the point in spending the $60 on springs your gonna take off soon anyway? save the $60 and put it toward your spring/shock combo that you want and then you can get it earlier than if you blew $60 on something your not gonna use long.

cuz it looks retarded with rims and not lowered. and 60 bucks is 5 hours of work, so its not that big of a deal, plus i could probably sell them for more when im done with them, my friend got a 50 dollar mufflew and sold it to a kid for 100 bucks here
