Now not only do i have bad idle but i was going to erplace my exaust manifold gaskets today cause it was smoking...only to find that two bolts coming through the manifold snapped off therefore making it loose and i think im just going to replace the head. im not going to try and go through all the trouble to just replace the bolts.
Now my question is... will a D16A6 head from a forth gen Si fit on my 3rd gen Si? if so then im in luck.

I dont think so. Because the 1g Si has 12v and the 2g has 16v.

what two bolt snaped? the header cover or the header's them selves...
the headers have like 9 bolts with 4 runners exposed, if you see 2 bolts it the cover and just finish ripping it off. it serves no use anyway! so, what's smoking... i bet you need a VC gasket and it's running down the head onto the exsaust man...
simmer down now!!

well you know how bolts come through a rotor...they dont really come off. well they come through the exaust manifold the same way and my exaust manifold splits in 2. Each side has 3 bolts coming through them and on one side 2 bolts snapped off making it loose on that one side making exaust leak out. What to you think i could do to try and fix it other then trying to replace the bolts because thats just gonan be a LOT of trouble just trying to replace.
