check out www.2gnt.com for any info about the non-turbo cars. You might want to be more specific with what you're looking for. It sounds like you're just naming famous parts that people use & do.

Nope
$595 thats not that much, considering us Canadians are paying around $800 for it

Just a thought though, why would you want, both a turbo charger and a nitrous system, Forced Induction and NOS usualy don't co-operate all to well un less you REALLY know what your doing. Also they are for typicaly two different autsports.
Don't mean to contradict you or discourage you of something you are sure of, just curious.

n.o.s. helps racers during turbo lag.. while the turbo is spoolin you can use the nos to help you off the line and give you some boost untill your turbo kicks! :bigthumb:

mm hmm, that i know, also it's benifical for the turbo as the nitrogen cooling effect will leave behind cooler exhaust.
But the only people that regularly do this are those like pro drag racers, well that's at least what i know.
From what i've heard from my work, i came to understand that NOS and FI engines usualy don't work because of something about the cams and then engines cylinders won't take kindly to it. it wasn't explained to me much beyond that, so if you could explain it to me, or direct me to someone or somewhere that will, i'd appreciate it, i jioned these forums to learn as much as i possibly can :D. ANyways Thanks ahead of time.

Oh woops, i withdraw my question, brianyoung does know what he's doing, i didn't notice the cams on his original post. as long as he gets the proper performance cams he should be just fine with both Turbo and NOS. Should of read it properly the first time i guess:icon16:

Why cant you run nitrous and turbo, without cams?
Stand-alone is good, if you know what you are doing, it can blow up your engines 1000 times from sunday

Well , starting with a 420A is just not a good idea. BUT , if you really want a stand-alone plug and play ECU thats adjustable , try AEM's new unit. After spending all that money , however , you'll be just about even with a regular turbo Eclipse. If ya wanna do something real , at least start with the right engine.

Well that's like saying, I'm going to the mall and getting shirts shoes pants & socks. Pretty basic info while not informing of any other modifications already done or installed. It's not as easy as baking a cake, you don't throw things together & voila! 10 second 420a. AEM makes a great standalone system, but I doubt you would create enough horsepower or mods to justify a stand-alone. This reminds me of a movie I saw somewhere once... what was it called?

So far I have done the following:
JE pistons
Port & Polishing
New springs and titanium retainers
Customized throttle body
New Pulley’s
AEM Cold air intake (will replace after turbo is installed)
Apex N1 exhaust (purchased but not installed yet)
About to do
Custom cut cam
Garrett turbo kit
NOS

I'm curious as to how your car runs? Aren't the JE pistons 8:8-1 compression? That must drive horrible with that low of compression, yet nothing boost wise to negate the difference. How are you tuning it currently? If you're going with all these parts, might as well just custom fab up a turbo kit, got to be lots cheaper than a kit price.

Well , considering the stock turbo 1G's compression is 7.5:1 , I'd say that was an improvement. Most non-performance non-turbo engines ( 420A anyone ? ) have about a 9.0:1 rating.

Stock rods?
What does the car run like now, no engine mgmt, I assume. New compters are picky with mods
How big of a turbo?
How big of a shot of nitrous?
