What's wrong with that?
You and I may think it's weird but to other people it can mean A LOT.
It's probably a collectors item.

:iagree: its probably worth more than that if it is a collectors item, which it probably is.

There is nothing wrong with it.....if it was cheaper I may have bid on it. I just thought it was a crazy price. Big Daddy was one of the coolest persons I had ever met.

Is an OOP item and it's already have 21 bidders on it and it's from 1964(It's older than me). With such good MIB (Mint In Box) quality, I really think it will worth more than that and also consider a hot item to me. But Modelers will not bid that unless you are a collector at the same time.

As a Skateboarder of the age 29.... id buy it if i had that kinda money! fortunetly Ed Roth kits are getting re-issued left and right. this guy bidding $700+ is probably an art and or skateboard collector. Mr. Roth was more known as an Artist then a car designer. my 2 cents

The auction is for a model of Rat Fink on a skateboard.
The picture I posted is a postcard autographed by Big Daddy Ed Roth.
