why the hell does my check engine light come on then i try to find my ecu code but its flashes more then 20 times ???????????/???/ and white smoke comes outta my exhaust HELP

doesn't that mean u blew ur head gasket? or there's something wrong with it?

its giving more than one code, there should be a pause in flashes

there is pauses but i count em and it passes 20

ok ... count the number of flashes. When there is a pause, then begin counting again from zero, while remembering how many times it flashed before it paused.

first function or second? cuz u can turn it twice befroe strting it

ON is second ACC if first



just go out and try it

maybe you are just getting a code 1 and counting it repeately.

reset the ecu then see what happens

that i just remove fuse for one minute

yeah you pull the hazard fuse... it the one under the hood on the passenger fenderwell...

Hey y'all,

UuUummm.... What about his other problem, the white smoke? That would also be pretty major, like Masta suggested, could be a blown head gasket... although would that trip a code 1, O2 sensor?

Have you checked all your fluid levels?

any other symptoms other than white smoke? it could be a head gasket but it could be other things too. some sympotoms of head gasket are the car running hot, car sputtering (almost like a dirty/bad injector), and how the oil looks. pull your dip stick. if it looks like milk has been dumped in (chocolate milk looking) then your anitfreeze + oil = bad head gasket.

how much white smoke are we talking here?
-when you take off in 1st gear?
-when you accelorate?
- all the time?
