99 LHS - needs a new motor ALREADY???

HELP :mad: My 1999 Chrysler LHS just started making a knocking noise yesterday and by the end of the day the car was
making a terrible noise.:eek7: I took it to a friend of mine that works on Chryslers and he said that it was unrepairable.... did I change the oil? YES, Does it have oil in it? YES...:comprage1 ... Well I bought the
AUL warranty when I bought the car (used) the warranty runs out
at 104,500 miles and GUESS what I have on the car??? :cya: YOU GUESSED It!!! 104,946!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Well the AUL won't agree as of
yet to go ahead and fix the car.... It has a 3.5 in it and I have
found a used motor of 51,000 miles on it for a grand. Any suggestions?
