Up to $6000 to spend...

Hi i have about $6000 to spend on my first car and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I am looking for a cool looking car that performs fairly well, so that i can add mods. I was really interested in a Porsche 944. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great! thanks

porche 944 eh, cant say i know alot about them, have to talk to my buddy cbass ;-)

from what i have heard they are not all that reliable, and think, its an older car and since its a porche it was unquestionably driven hard if the owner at one time was some punk kid.
