Hi there,
this will be my first progress thread. I´m working very slow at the moment, cause it`s so un believeble hot here.
It will be a Astra Street Version. Iknow you have seen many Astra Street versions, but this will be build after the Opel astra Exstreme, the only real Street Version of this car. It is a prototype and only one car was build.
The model will have a two seat interieur like the real one. not everything will be possible cause when you look at the real car, there are so many diffrences in the bodywork. But I will do everything thats possible.
I hope you like it and excuse my english!
Here is what I´ve done so far:

And this is what it should looks like:

Do you have an idea where I can get rims that looks right. In original they are 20 inch?

At last!
:bigthumb:
somebody is doing the "real" street astra.. the Extreme! I love it!
it sure changes -for the good- then those wanna-be-but-never-gonna-be pseudo street astra's.
I hope you can get those rims sorted out, I have really no idea which ones to use or modify, maybe some rims of an 1/18th scale model?

what kind of material did you use to cover the holes of the wings?

I just smooth it with "Presto Feinspachtel". That a very fine Automotive putty. I use it on all my models. It brings out good results. It´a 2 Component Putty that drys out very hard and very fine.

Thank you for your comments!
I´ve started the rear bumper, cutted out the side air outlets and added some plastik sheet from the inside. Now I have to smoth it with putty.

I have made this to use it for a selfmade decal:

Here is a photo of the interieur:

And finaly another pic of the real car, diplayed during a DTM race weekend:

I know my modell will not look exatly the same but I will stay close!More will follow soon...

Thank you very much!!! I´ve searched for those pics some while!! I´m going to the Nürburgring for DTM this weekend, maybe the car is diplayed by Opel. Then I will take some pics!!
