Damn I dont know what way to go...... i got about 2 g's to put into my 90 Ls and i am a little confused on what to do! my friends keep insisting on the Ls/Vtec but im thinking its too common ... what i thought about doing is pulling all the power out of an ls by just rebuilding the one i already have...gimmie some advice on what would be good to do.

Personally I'd rebuid. If you plan on turboing it, I think it's the best route to go. LS/VTEC is great and all, but it has the VTEC in it of course and if you turbo your engine then you'd have to get a VTEC controller and that's more money you'd have to spend on an already expensive modification.

I feel ya on that... Ls/vtec is coo and all but everyone in my area is doing it and its not only getting played out but ... it eats oil up and i hear about hella dudes problems trying to maintain it ..and a rebuild is more better because the power will still be there and if i get a hood check people will think my car is all legit and stock ..... i got my stage 2 act clutch coming in like in 2 days and imma slap that on with my fixed engine along with some skunk 2 camshafts.... i found a spot where i can get a 2nd gen head and block for $450 (He said he had like 4 of em with miles ranging from 52,000-75,000) ! obviously i will check to see if the engine itself is intact but im probably just going to get that and work with it . Hopefully with alot of time money and patience i can get my car running faster then before!:banghead:

Skunk 2 camshafts are good, but personally I'd go with Crower or JUN for my integra.
