The car is 1 of 750 made by Prodrive

It comes with an official number and card to prove it and the chassis has a special limited edition plate on it.

I am interested in photos, since I am a Subaru fan, and .......
I didn't buy the R/C car, but I bought the die-cast Subaru that was a limited edition too. There were only 2000 made, and I have the card too!

Are you into Subarus?:dogpile:

You are paying high price for marketing gimeck. There is nothing special about the car itself, Just an rs4 car with prepainted body. I mean so what they through in a tshirt and a authentic card from the race team. Is not like I can get the car from towerhobbies. Not a good investment. But hey is your money your choice.

:iagree:
That isn't that special. It might be worth a little more, but can't be that much more.

Good point, which is why i didnt pay £400 for it.

My friend is moving to New Zealand soon and he decided to sell it, as i am a friend i got it for £150, its my first petrol r/c car so i am quite proud

Pictures will be coming soon when i get the film developed, its got a stamp on the chassis etc. I am number 537 out of the 700 or 750 whatever it is. All i know, is that its good fun and ill be purchasing more in the future

Any suggestions welcome.....

Well even if you get it why would you run it if it is a limited edition

I would leave it as a display model, then go buy myself a rc car and use the engine from your prodrive car. That's just me.

Beside I owned a hpi racer 2 before and I swore to it on the bible that I will never get a hpi car ever again. Once you go to a pro car like the tc3 or serpent you will never use a hpi car again.

Do you have a TC3? Do you have any pics of it if you do? I've wanted one for a while, but I've been spending more money on modeling than R/c's lately.

Yes he did but I would not consider that a hpi he mod the car to the max. It does not even resemble a hpi with the stuff he did.

he didnt mod the car ... the car is from hpi except this:
KO radio equipment (PDS-2343FET servos and KR302F receiver)
Team Orion Fresh Kicks tires
Nova Rossi NS3 Race engine (bought at the hobby shop during the race!)
RD Logics header and pipe
AMBrc personal transponder
Team Orion receiver pack (5 x AAA)
