I am only 15 so I can't really buy a car, but I've been working at a garage for two years, last year nad this one. And next year will be my 16th birthday giving me the oppurtunity to get my lisence.
So I figured this eyar I oughta start saving just a bit of cash so i can get a nice down payment and what not when I get my first car. Logicaly I'm not planning for it to be new, but I am definetley looking for a Mitsubuishi. So iwas wondering about how much does a used eclipse run for. Note I am Canadian so Canadian currency would be better info but if you post in american no big prob, i can just find some currency exhanger on the internet.
Alrite thanks a lot

This is all in American $ , so bear with me.
1G TSi's and GSX's (I'm assuming you don't want a non-turbo junk-heap) go for between $1500 to $5000 depending on mileage , condition , and previous mods. If you want a 1G , early 1992 is the absolute BEST of all the DSM's , with the most aggressive stock cams , 4-bolt rear LSD differential , flush headlights , and the 6-bolt 500 Hp capable engine.
2G TSi's , and GST's (FWD turbo) , and GSX's go for about $5000 and up , with the 99's fetching about $13,000 to $15,000 , depending on condition as above. Years to AVOID are the 95 to 97's , as those years are the worst for that ugly little engine replacement causing phenomenon we call "crankwalk".
I'd get with Talon007 , he would have a better idea on Canadian prices than I do.....

Yeah , I had an early '92 Eclipse for about 2 years. Neat little street-racer ( I didn't say that  ) Easy to mod , kinda a pain to take care of , but all DSM's are like that. I'd go and do some research on it first , if I were you. Any DSM.ORG website should have useful info . My local club is Co.dsm.org . Look in the TECHSHED , and in the section on the far left titled "1000 already answered questions" lotsa good info in there , be sure to read it. :bigthumb:
