97 Keyless Entry Partially Working

It unlocks the driver door and opens the tailgate, but won't unlock all doors or lock any doors. The transmitter was tested at the dealership and is said to be working fine. I was looking through the reprogramming procedures, but I know the truck hears the keypad. The lights even go on and off for the lock button. Any ideas on how to fix this? Is there a relay I can replace or something?
Thank You,

Also: I tried to program a second remote from my other car but it didn't seem to work, even though they both had the same model number.

I went to the local Chevrolet dealership yesterday and today and talked to service and parts. Neither one of them have ever heard of this problem. In the 97 Tahoe there is a wireless receiver (~$120), a relay (~$30) and the F.O.B. transmitters, (~$60). They have never even had these parts requested through this dealership in the last 2 years. They also have no idea that replacing these would solve the problem. It might just be a short. I would have to bring it in and have to pay the hourly service rate just to figure out what is wrong with it.
I have been having this problem for over 2 years now, and recently my F.O.B. hasn't been working too well with the functions that did work, even after replacing the battery.
I am not sure what to do, don't have money to waste, and am tired of this "convenience" feature not working.
Keep me posted if you find anything and I will report back if I find something out.

I have had this problem for about 6 months. I cannot get anyone to tell me where the relay is located. I think I have found it but before I tear my dash apart to get to it I want to make sure that is the relay. I would pay the $30 for it and see if that was the problem.
Do the switches on the drivers door work? mine do and that is why I believe it is the relay.
I hope someone will answer soon????
Did you get a part # for the relay? I know there are two relays one for the switches on the drivers door and one for the remote.

Yes, the wired door lock switches in the doors all work. The relay part number is 12065122.
I wonder if putting in an aftermarket alarm would fix everthing. It would certainly be cheaper than getting a new fob, receiver, and relay. Plus, I would have an alarm. I would also be adding a autostarter and power window controllers.

I will see if my local Chevy dealer has the relay, I have two within 5 miles, and replace the one I believe it is. If they have it I will try and do it this weekend and let you know. I also looked on the web for the part and it was $17 +sh.
I also thought about adding the alarm and see if that would by-pass the original. Some of the kits you can see how to wire online and they use the reg. door switch wires.
If I get the relay I will let you know what happens.

UPDATE:
I finally broke down and had a shop look at the keyless entry problem while I was having some other work done. They told me that there was a visible scorched area on the reciever unit circuit board. The unit with labor for removal and installaton came to about $400 all together. So, the problem WAS in fact the reciever module under the dash. Everything works fine now.
