Stripping paint off body

Hi, how do I remove the paint off the body? The paint is a Tamiya TS-26 spray paint... should I leave it in a tub of nail polish remover or use the Easy Oven Remover suggested from another thread? Would these agents melt the plastic? -Thanks in advance

I don't know of many others that do this, but I use Pine Sol (household cleaner) to strip Tamiya paint. Put the Pine Sol in a plastic container, then put the model in and let it soak for a little bit. If you give it a few hours, then the Pine Sol should have soaked into the paint enough that you can simply rub the paint off with a brush or towel. HTH

DO NOT use nail polish remover. It'll melt the plastic.

Common strippers also include Castrol Super Clean and brake fluid.

I just bought the Pine Sol... do I need to mix in some water or just plain Pine Sol? Thanks

Just straight Pine Sol-just a warning though-don't let it sit for too long (like more then a 2 days)-I've had problems with plastic becoming brittle if it soaks for too long, but you shouldn't have any problems so long as it is in there for about 7 (maybe less) hours. HTH
