ok, my neighbor has a 1997 black sedan, it has 111k miles and the body is in good shape besides some scratches, runs perfect, 5 speed, interior is really clean except like a slice in the glove box about 1" long. and also the right side power window goes slow.

anyways, he came over a hour ago and told me he needed some cash cuz he bounced checks and needs 1500 right now and hell give it to me for 5k. I told him I only had 2k and he is going to give me the car for the 2k and give me 90 days to give him the rest, and i asked what if it took longer and he said he wasnt too worried about it because he knows me and im a honest trustworthy guy.

so do you think I should do it, I was going to get an integra but I always have liked accords. and I knoww that a LX accord isnt going to be quick at all, but this is the first mod I wanna do besides lowered(cuz i got rims and stock height w/ rims looks goofy).

the H22A swap, then turbo kit, 2.75" exhaust, eventually I will build the block to handle lots of boost but one of my questions is how much the H22a can handle stock? and anyone ever put a H22a in thier accord and then TC it cuz it looks very tight under the hood.

anyone know how much the turbo in the stage 2 kit can support?

and if the accord is a 97 it is OBD2 right, and the 92-95 H22a Im guessing is OBD1, is there anything you have to do besides the skunk2 harness. and the H22 goes in using its mounts right?

well, anyways, tomorrow I wma going to the bank and pulling out 2 grand and buying it.

I am gonna make a cheap PVC intake at first since I wont have any more than 20 bucks leftover anyways, but anybody with a LX sedan 5 speed ith bolt ons and been to the track, im guessing mid-high 17's

my civic runs the quarter in 16.6 and there was EX sedans wiht I/H/E and 5 speed were running like 17.0-17.3 and on the freeway I raced this kid in his EX sedan with intake and exhaust, I think it is the stock manifold even, and auto but on the freeway he pulled pretty good on me.

and me having 15HP less i think I dont plan on going very fast at all, but there was a 95 coupe 5 speed with a H22a running mid 16's, car was a POS though and didnt sound like it ran too good, but what kinda times to H22 accords run wiht just like I/H/E and cam gears and tuned good run?

thats a terrible time. you should be able to get mid 14's. a friend of mine has a stock 95 usdm prelude and he ran a 14.8. whoever this guy is with a h22 running 16's... tell him to go shoot himself. thats a disgrace to the honda name.

and dont make a pvc intake. if you wanna go that ghetto just cut the bottom out from the stock box... it wont look as bad and youll get the flow you want.

I dont know the guy runnign those 16's, but figured they sucked. and the PVC intake I got on my civic now looks much better than whats stock on that accord, mine is all painted blue, and in the accord it is a rippled tube going to a big box. but do you think it sounds like a good deal, I like it ewspeciually cuz i get it for 2 and have a long time ot pay the rest.

also would the prelude typeS 97+ H22 JDM 220HP engine swap in easier cuz of wiring and if it is is it worth 2k more.

and do you thinnk a H22 with 11:1's stage 2 cams, fully built with all you can do to it and a NX wet kit like 50shot maybe, in my new car, can it hit 13's
