Crankshaft Position Sensor

Hi folks! New to the board. Hoping someone can help me.

'94 Cherokee 4.0L Died won't start (cranks fine)

Check the computer and it's giving a code 11 (crankshaft position not detected). Bought a replacement before I looked......

Holy cow,,, How the heck to you get this thing off?????

(It's mounted to the bell housing where no man can reach the thing)
Anybody got any tips, tricks or advise for me?

Get a small child to climb up there........really, the last one I did on my
89 I recall using a open ended wrench on it, it is inaccessible but I got it
out with I believe it was a long reach 3/8 with a short 15mm socket Plus seriously, get a old pillow or blanket to lay over the valve cover to get to it. Try also, I had to get this for another Jeep project, get a 15mm socket with a hex
cut into the sides of the socket get this on the bolt and then use the wrench for more torque. If I have to do it again I might get my
son to do it if he could. thank all those probably Renault guys for this
when they were designing it in the 80's when Jeep was in with them.
Watch your bolts, I have heard of someone dropping one in and that
would not make your day, and plug the harness in so if you drop it it
will not fall much . Good luck!
