i know this is a stupid question but can someone tell me how much im lookin around for labor to get this engine installed into my dx hatchback?

yup, ive been quoted over 1,000 for install costs, but since im a mechanic, im just doing it myself.

You seem to be missing a few important parts... like ECU, gearbox and axles for a start.

well i went to a local shop that does import performance shit, and they quoted me 1000 for the labor of putting a b18 non-vtec motor into my 91 LX, then all the other parts totalled about 2000, so they said an even 3 grand, which got me HASport mounts and wiring harness, manual steering rack, axles, ecu, shifter linkage, and all that other shit you need. oh yeah, that includes motor.
