nuetral saftey switch

I am trying to install a new neutral saftey switch and i have never do this on my 84 ford truck and was wondering if anyone could tell me were it is and what i have to do

do you have a manual ? I placed a neutral safety switch on my floor shifter. I had to splice into it from my clutch interlock switch when I changed from stick to auto. the lines come from the trans and goes thru firewall below brake master cylinder. you probably need to hook up reverse switch for your back up lights. all the wiring colors and routing can be found in one of those haynes or chilton manuals.
