Reversing a dashboard.

I just got a DC5 that I'm going to use to build my girlfriend's RSX. The Fujimi kit comes with the right hand drive dashboard, which (I know) could be reversed by cutting, swapping, and glueing. However, the radio and AC controls are in the center part are at an angle, facing the driver, and there are sweeping curves across the top and around the console that are RHD specific. I figure I can just chop it all up, and put it together with alot of putty, but my skillz aren't so mad and I'm afraid to lose alot of detail. And botch it completely. Anyone tried this before, and have any pointers, advice, or whatnot? Any one got a nifty trick, even?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Just buy a $7 Maisto diecast and steal it's dashboard. :dunno:

I got RSX for $5 at KB Toys, and I'm going to do the same. :)
