IHRA Drag Racing

I went and picked up a copy of this game today, and am looking forward to playing it. I had a copy for the PC, but never could get it to work just right. This copy is for the PS1, so hopefully it will work on my PS2, since I gave my PS1 away. I was wondering if anyone else has played it, or is going to get a copy.

I think it came out on Monday. I played it a bit last night, I can see why it is only $10. The graphics leave a little to be desired, and its not as in depth as the PC version. Its OK I guess, but as far as I know, it is the only drag racing game for a console that is out right now. It says on the back of the instruction booklet that the version for the PS2 will be coming out soon, so hopefully that will be quite a bit better.

So in your opinion, would you recommend someone in buying it or not to waste the ten bucks. I like IHRA, but don't want to shell out the money on something that is going to be dismall at best.

If you have a stud muffin computer, definately get the PC version. You can adjust everything from intake to bore, what type of fuel, pretty much every aspect of drag racing that I can imagine. I haven't got to play the PS1 version too much yet, but I don't think it is going to be very good. For the PC version, the system requirements aren't all that much, I would just recommend you have a good video card. The PC version rocks. And if you like drag racing, I highly recommend it.

Thanks! I haven't really played many games on PC. After getting a gaming system, I've left the games to my PS2 and the PC for other things. But thanks for the info. Maybe the PS2 version will be like the PC version.:D

I think i'll wait till it comes out and hire it first to see if i should buy it or not

I think it is the second version of the game if I am not mistaken.
