Hello everybody,
Not sure if this is the best category for this question or not. So if it needs to be moved please do so.
Ive been checking into a few products for chip protection on the front end of cars (Stongard (http://www.stongard.com) and Clearshield (http://www.clearshield.com))

Sorry about that I bumped the return key and it posted.
Anyway,
I've checked into a few local dealers as far as pricing goes. The two Stongard dealers never got back to me and the one for Clearshield I just called yesterday.
Anyone out there use any of these types of products for their hood? I know rock chips are inevitable and will eventually happen. I have no idea what the costs are and if they out way the possibility of small rock chips. Just trying to get a feel if anyone out there has had something similar done and if they like it or not. What kinda costs do these typically run? I know I could order a kit but Id sooner have a professional apply it.
Again sorry for the first post,
Thanks in advance.

Many people had that stuff installed on their new car purchases from the dealers I work at. Its a good idea, but i wouldn't put it on my car. Also the film starts turning yellow after a while. I'm not sure how much they were paying for pro installation & supplies.
