Just bought a 99 GS-T Spyder for the wife... got tired of her taking my stang on joyrides lol. I bought the car from Carmax for $15,500 drive out price with the 3/36 extended warrenty included, the car has 30k miles at the moment, not to bad for a 99. I'm aware of the possible "crankwalk" problems but I've always loved the sound of turbos ;). Anything else I should know about the car? What do you 98-99 GS-T owners think about your car?
Any general info, advice, reviews would be appreicated.
KILL! :biggrin2:

I do have one question. Why did you give her the GS-T? Why didn't YOU take it?!?!

Crankwalk is significantly lower in 99, but it still can happen.

hehe well... I bought what I wanted about three months ago, 03 Stang GT, wanted the Mach 1 but just a tad out of budget. Don't get me wrong, the GS-T is awesome and the boast rocks, I'll be taking it for spins every now and then but I'm in love with the raw power of the GT and got tired of sharing it lol
But damn that GS-T looks nice, we just spent 3 hours hand washing and detailing the car...bling bling  Just needs some new carpart, last owner stained it with coke :/, everything else is GtG
Other then a K&N filter, what are some other safe & cheap mods?
Whats the best oil/filter to use?

I was just scrolling through and saw your post. I don't have anything bad to say about my '98. I bought mine with 10k and it's been dead reliable for the 35k that I've put on it. Hope your wife (and you) have fun with the new toy.:bigthumb:
