Just finished the painting, need compound and polish next.
This is the 2nd attempt at this colour but I'm now 99% happy with the results.

Looking good, Damn, I'm trying hard to improve my skills to the level of yours, all your cars are so perfect. The FAQ's here have certainly helped me alot, hopefully my project im working on now should turn out alright :D

I had it mixed special a few months ago for use on a Skyline
The paint code is YAM65 it's a Yamaha Bike colour.
It was applied with an airbrush 4 coats then 4 coats of clear Halfords Lacquer.

Thanks

WOW! great color choice for the 32. waiting and anticipating a serious car here. are you planning stock engine bay or are you going big? since your so good at engine detail I'd really like to see something like a huge single turbo conversion with a chrome valve cover (like signals R34) or something, I think you'd do a great job on that and would like to see it done. hint hint.

whatever you choose I'm sure it will turn out beautiful

Just so long as I don't ever hear this beauty called "the Purple People Eater". :iceslolan

It looks great. Strange as it'll seem, it reminds me of the old "Flintstone Flyer" supermodifieds that the Gibson family raced for years aound here. They were always a very similar shade of purple to your R32 and were numbered with a flying #0.

Too cool. :bigthumb:

Bit more work done today.
Rear axle and brake discs modified as previously done on the Surpa and RX-7 to accept Fujimi Yokohama AVS Model 5 18inch rims.
All engine components painted and engine block modified to lower the front of the car and also to accept the solid axle shaft.
BTW Windows are only taped in place for now.

Doing this sort of wheel m/f conversion makes changing the ride height and wheel centres very simple.

Enjoy

Wow! What an awesome paint job! And those wheels! :bigthumb: How do they "stick" on the car?

wow that looks great and the colour and wheels makes it look more updated! i love it.

plus what your doing with the discs is what i was going to do b4 my bump to the head, i think the diameter that they need to be drilled is 6.5 mm.

I found a 6mm drill works fine as they always open a bit bigger, if it too big the disc will spin freely and I wanted them tight to the wheel.

BOOSTD : I'll take some photo's soon and post up, i'm at work now :frown:

The above photos are how I lowered the front, I drilled into the engine block higher and inserted a plastic tube. I'll edit this later as teas on the table and I'm being nagged.

Tan coloured interior added as well now, which I think suits the external body colour.
Sorry about the colours and shadows but it's 11-28pm here so no natural lighting.
