I have an '83 Buick Superior (Hearse) I believe it's got a LeSabre engine cuz that's what it says above the glove box. I just need help with everything about it. I need to find a manual for it, and I need to find a forum for Hearses, but I've looked and I don't think they exsist... :( If anyone could help It'd be greatly appreciated!

Due to rarity of hearses, and the rarity of owners who would post here, we don't have a forum for you. Maybe you could be specific. What does the engine sound like when running?

I can't remember, it's been more than two months since I've run it, all the tranny fliud leaked out and I don't want to risk it, but I've no extra cash for towing and repairs... Before that happened it ran beautifully, save for the squeaking of the belt from time to time especially when I turned on the A/C. But I already knew the belt needed to be replaced...

Been there, I didn't find anything worth while. Besides, how do you think I found this forum? :P

LOL!!
Yeah its getting hard to do a search for something car related and not find a page here at AF.
It did however have several links to Hearse owners clubs, many looked UK based but surely one must have been able to offer some help?

Well I started him up and he turned over on the second try, which is cool because sometimes it took more than that. I've posted on one Hearse forum, and the Buick Club of America forum. Hopefully someone will be able to at least give me some direction there. The best guess I've gotten so far is that one of the lines corroded through and that I should put more fluid in even if it leaks out, and I'll prolly be able to see where it's leaking out. That's about it so far. I still need to find a manual, the one where it tells me how to take apart the engine piece by piece.
