I just put my new 4-2-1 header on yesterday and I have one sensor that I didn't hook up b/c there was only one hole. Has anyone ever done anything to bypass this? Should I install it? Is there a way to bypass it? My check engine light comes on but that is it so there is ono real danger, but any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for any help

Those "sensors" in your exhaust are oxygen sensors. They are absolutely required (or at least the first one is). You will have to have a hole drilled into your header, then a threadded nut welded to the hole to screw the 02 sensor into.

The MINIMUM you should do is install the #1 o2 sensor, rather than just the #2 o2 sensor. The #1 sensor is what the ECU uses to determine air/fuel ratios. The Second 02 sensor is only there to check catalytic converter operation/efficency.
