I Got A Ps2!!!!

i got a ps2 yesterday for $120 with 3 games and a memory card!:biggrin:
yes it used but the person didnt really play it much.. he moved to a dorm and his roomate has a ps2 so his just sits there n collects dust.. so i bought it..

the games i'm going to get are
gt3(of course)
auto modillesta
and some other racing games..

i cant wait till GT4 is out..

the ps2 came wid some skateboarding game, some flying game an some rpg thing.. i dont really play those types of games..

Get a slide card, and Initial D Special Stage! (http://www.play-asia.com/paos-13-30ba6003.html) :bigthumb: with the slide card you can now play CDRs and imports

i heard inital d was commin out for ps2 next yr. ..

btw any suggustion on good racing games for ps2?

I dont wanna wait till next year, just get a slide card and japanese version! :biggrin: Check out Wangan Midnight, or Touge 3, but both are imports and you will need a slide card. Midnight Club 2 was ok, but i got bored of it after beating it, and Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Zero was plain kickass, even let you put FnF stickers all over your car :icon16:

We still use our PS1. Still have lots of games we haven't played on that yet so we're not fired up to get a PS2 or XBox

Rally Sport Challenge is great! That is if you like Rally. I see you already have one of the best racing games out there so I will suggest that you also get Gran Turismo 4 when it comes out. It is supposed to have a buttload of cars. I heard Auto Modellista wasn't very good, please someone correct me if I'm wrong, I was going to buy that game.

Also, I still love to play my original Playstation, hell I still play my NES.

i have both for PC, and they're both extremely addictive.

i would get a PS2, but that's car money i'd be spending. plus i think a new one is coming out soon anyways.

Auto Modellista wasn't that good, and personally i think the physics sucked. I'd take Touge 3 over Wangan Midnight, and TXR:0 is a rip of Wangan Midnight, the game not the manga. Notice the #400 car was *extremely* similar to the Wangan Midnight(manga) main character's car. A Dastun 240Z i think... but both games are imports.

GT3 is an absolute must
Pro Racer Car driver likewise
GTA Vice City and GTA3 are awesome fun
The Getaway is slightly flawed but still great

if you like gt3 then youll probably like "midnightclub 2" cuz its just like it but street racing and you get nos in it YES!!!! and other then that look into a game called srs (street racing syndicate)..i saw it at e3 this year but no word on when it comes out....can't wait...its just like reality but only in the game i can afford a lancer evo LoL

Its not realistic and the physics still kinda sucks...and "nos"...personally i liked how they put nitrous in the first game better, it only got it to top speed faster, but in the second version its filled with riced civics and integras and "nitro" which makes your car faster in top speed and acceleration.

I loathed midnight Club 2- there were sme cool points- ie the crusing around bit and crashing the ricers into petrol pumps :devil: but everything else about it was a big disappointment

i just started gt3.. i started off with a miata. it sux ass.. im doing the sunday race untill i get enuff $$ to buy and evo5 or 6 then itz to my R34 GTR v-spec2.

i dont like the graphics on txr0 and plus i got TXR2 for dream cast that is 1 kick ass game..

i think midnight club sucks ass and i think it is a cheap rip off of a good street racing game..

i heard that there will be a upgrade for PS2 instead of a new system.. but it probably jus a rumor..

the game that i cant wait to see come out is GT4 and STREET RACER SYNDICET!

those games will kick ass
