Installed Catz HID on 99 E320

I just installed a set of Catz HIDs on my 99 E320. The lights look cool, but it triggers the Headlamp Defected warning because of the different amperage of the HIDs. Does anyone know how I can bypass this warning?

You may want to try using some resistors to bring down the amps... I install many kits and have had this occur sometimes. I just installed a 10,000K on my benz. Awesome results!

Thanks, that's exactly what I did. I went to radio shack and installed a 1/2 wall 1k parallel resistor and it did the trick. Thanks for the response.
