i would supercharge a civic b\c i like the possibilities of a turbo.. there is always room for improvement with not alot of cost..
with a s\c once you boost 12psi on most honda s\c your done you can't boost more..

also honda motors are hi revin and s\c are used for low end power which means that after lets say for argument sake 5000rpmz with a s\c you run out of boost. as with a turbo after the turbo spools about 3500rpm you keep n keeps makin boost to redline which is in the mid to hi 8000rpmz on hondas..

basically honda is hi reving and turbo makes power and holds it a longer amount of time then a s\c does..

Nobody supercharges civics because all the kits out there suck ass. If someone made a kit with a 1.5L autorotor blower, and an intercooler i'd be all over it like white on rice. But since there's only the JRSC (crappy roots) and the vortech/prochargers (centrifugals which suck ass on a high revving motor) I went turbo.

Superchargers don't produce enough JUICE for these little motors. They're too expensive and don't offer enough gains to back the pricetag up. They look good, though.

I agree.

There are more dissadvantages to a supercharger than there are for a turbocharger. JMO.
