GT more popular than prototypes?

In 2004 there could be more cars going into the GT class then the other classes. From the latest autosport mag it says, Maserati is ready to start building one, Aston Martin is designing one, McLaren is styling one and Lamborghini is also thinking of making a GT category car. All of this is for the 2004 Le Mans 24 hour race.
Can't wait if Lambo enter at Le Mans!!

I think i remember nissans name in there to. I love GT and GTS, its pretty much the only reason i watch the ALMS

i wonder when mercedes will make an attempt to come back to GT and Le mans racing? I know the CLR was an embarresement but i think after 5 years they could come back. I think the GT class is a lot better as you can relate the cars to road machines but the prototype are just pants in my opinion!

Without GTS in ALMS I wouldnt care

What makes a car belong in GT class?

Lmp's have the speed but gt's have crowd. Lmps are fast but ugly gt's are beautiful. ~ end of story...
