I'm trying to build this

Here's what I've done to the body.

I've cut off the side skirts and made some markings on how the over fender should be, but I'm not too sure how to make it with styrene sheets.

I need help!!!!! Greatly appreciate it, thanks!

You can get those N2 mirrors off most R32 GTR kits...

I got the mirrors already, just need to figure out the fender, which is really troubling me. I don't want to end up using lots of putty.

Dude, sorry to say this... if you wanna get the fenders right.. just go ahead and use the putty and sand it to the shape.. try and use the Tamiya quick type putty.. I used it one my (now cut up) 180 and it was very easy to work with..

Yea, If i was you I would get a styrene stip and run it around the wheel well, as far out as you want the flare, then do the body part with putty..
BTW, do you have a pic of the box of the model that your using? I like that.

I would use Tamiya Epoxy putty to do it like this...

Alright, I'll try to form a rough shape with some thin styrene sheet and mold it with putty.
Here's what the box looks like

I don't really like the widebody kit thing, but whatever floats your boat.

I'm using Tamiya Epoxy putty, smooth surface, the blue box one.
Actually, the entire left rear fender is done, but I'll take more pics later when I finish the front.

In my experiences, Tamiya Epoxy is impossible to get right.. It seems to never dry, and it stays sticky.. Does anyone know what Im doing wrong? Great looking job again Turbo :bigthumb:

Hono: You've got a good eye. I'm gonna have to build a grill from styrene to match the photo.
Camber: I'm guessing you let too much water touch the putty. Cause if that happens, it might take days or even weeks to dry completely.

Henry got the basic kit that comes with RS Watanabes which is listed at ¥1000 and the one I got was the Mito Natto Racing version which includes 17" TE37's and is listed at ¥1500. As far as my knowlege, all of the 3-Door Fujimi Levins kits are Kouki models.
Henry, keep the progress, as I started to do some work on mine recently, I know this will definatly be a great thread to follow!
