here is the deal

I am only 16 and I have a 1986 Honda Accord
its fairly done up, but it doesnt have the aftermarket support i want... its pretty quick, but the 2890 lb with driver weight is way to heavy to get much speed from it...

i can sell this car for around 3000 bucks to some kid in town. the car is fairly modified (weber carb, lowered on full bodied coilovers, 17 inch wheels, headers and full exhaust, roll cage with gutted interior and a bumpin audio system)

When i graduate, i get 10 000 bucks as a gift. I need about 3500 for tools as i am becoming a mechanic.

that leaves me with about 10 000 bucks after selling the accord.
i can pick up a nice clean low mileage civic SI for about 3500..

so im now down to 6500 canadian dollars for mods...
this is what i have come up with...

check out ebay for shure you can get some of that shit way cheeper than what they got ghoing. Like xcda headers and itnake and that kind of shit ... yu might beven be able to get some shit nice and cheped han that.

I do have a JDM B20 in it.. the only reason its not goin into the civic is because its not a conventional Bseries block... it bolts into teh accord, but regualr Bseries blocks need a Place Racing Kit...

lol.. i wouldnt lie about a freekin old ass honda accord.. its not lik eits special.. i scored the engine at Lucky Star in Toronto for 600 bucks cuz they got it by mistake...

if you would like, i could take a picture of my shitty accord to prove it to you

oh yah.. and with 4500 USD, can i do a B16 swap? into the civic?

Place Racing mounting kits suck from what I hear.

And for $4,500 USD you could almost have a GSR engine in a civic... or even a turbo B16.

i never said i have a place racing mount.. if i wanted a B16 i would have had to get a Place Racing kit.. anyway.. i think i have a pic of it out of the car.. and a pic of the car.. but ill get a whole engine bay snap tommorow

that whole set-up sounds like itz too expensive......didn't T.O.O. say it cost him about $3k to have his civic up to 500bhp:eek7:

but if i had the money i say turbo a b16.....u got speed and itzsomething quick to do....then i'd go back and build up the engine more

I never said you had place racing mounts.... I simply stated that I've heard that place racing kits suck... as to discourage your usage of them... I've heard HCP Engineering and HA Sport mounts are much better... for if you do decide to do a bseries swap into a Civic.

Haha.... nah... I call BS at the slightest little thing... ask anyone who's been in here a month or more.

When people get deffensive about stuff is the best time to get the truth out of them... but I'll let ya slide for now little man ;)

I personally say buy a Civic shell and use the Accord for parts if you plan to sell it for so little, it's worth more as parts then to be sold as a whole... think about it a lil' bit.

By the way.... I'm still doubtful about the whole deal.

like i said, the accord has a weird ass engine, other wise i would drop it into a DX civic with the carbs.. it would be easy as hell... but its all fucked up... nothing mounts the same... ill sell it in town, buy a civic or CRX and go B16... i really like the idea of all motor, but i guess the only way to go nowadays in Forced Induction.. and The Old One doesnt seem like he is gonna get the superchargers ready anytime soon.. so i think its gonna be turbo b16...

anyone have a quarter mile estimate on a low boost B16?? just an est.. like in the 12's.. yes i can drive... im actually pretty good.. so like will i get 12's out of a civic with a low boost B16 on slicks??

is there a complete how to somewhere??? like a website for it? i found many ZC ones, but no B16 sites.. i want a list of EVERYTHING i need to buy...

and is there a turbo kit for the B16 and the 91 Civic's??

any info that you have pertaining to dropping a B16 turbo into a SI civic, lemme have it

i plan on gettin a z6...buildin it up and boosting that.....the d series motors ar fairly cheap but the price of b16's are falling and if i were u and since u have the money i'd jump on that b/c the aftermarket is so huge for it

now i'm probably just jumping to conclusions too, but i'm thinkin BS here.

one, why would you go from FI to carbed?and ifits for more power, why do you say your b20 doesn't put out enuf? b20's have torque AND hp, its a good engine.

you have a gutted interior, but a bumpin sound system?! what sense does that make?

on the two pics of the engine, the valve covers are different. on the first there is a scratch in the bottom left hand corner. in the second its not there, but there is a chip in the paint that isn't in the first.

also, how did the sides of the head and block go from black to a nice silver (rebuilt engine silver), and if the orange cleaner did that, why is the valve cover still dirty? and where did the cam pulley cover go?

the car pics have different rims in them, and unless i'm wrong, both are aftermarket, so why buy two different types?

and the side marker in the top pic is black where its yellow in the bottom.

i could list more, but i'm tired :) and i could be wrong, but thats just stuff that i saw...

1 i am using dual weber 45's.. my car was a carbed car from the start so insteadof rewiring the fuckin thing for FI, i went carbs
2. my subs come out with 3 conections, the amps are on the box so when i race, the subs come out
3. i dont know what to say about the chips but im guessing they happened in transport.. this engine was on a rubber tire for 3 months at the back of my garage.. see how the first pic has far less scratches? i guess it got banged a bit...
4. i didnt clean the valve cover cuz it had to be sand blasted before i painted it... i want gonna half ass it, so it was completly stripped and the cam gear cover was removed to clean behind it...
5. ahh.. the wheels... look at the first wheels, they are small... 15's to be exact... the second set is a set of 17's... these are my summer wheels.. the first set i got for 150 bucks at a flea market... they are winter wheels
6. the sidemarker is the result of home made CLEAR CORNERS... its a shitty camera on a shitty day.. it looks black, but its not.. i just cut the orange reflector off, and added some office light cover plastic...

i cant believe you think im BSing.. thats crazy.. if i was gonna BS, i would choose a way better car to BS about...
