Ceramin header question, Need advice

I just got a used dc ceramic header for my integra. The header is in good shape, for 100$. I was planning on wrapping it (with exhaust wrap). Here's my problem, i live in ohio and get bad winters. Do you have any suggestions on prolongin the life of a ceramic header? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks :bananasmi

If you wrap it, it will be fine. I live in PA and it gets just as cold here, no big deal.
