Best spring/shock combo???

I'd like to lower my car a little bit. I don't want to go too low, because I don't want to worry about snow, parking blocks, dips, speed bumps, etc. Another thing that is VERY important to me is keeping the ride comfort as close to stock as possible. The combos i'm thinking about are:

1) Eibach Pro-Kit w/ KYB AGX

2) Eibach Pro-Kit w/ Tokico Illuminas

3) H&R Sports w/ KYB AGX

4) H&R Sports w/ Tokico Illuminas

I have a '97 Accord, so if anyone has pics of what it would look like with the drop of the Pro-Kits or Sports that would be great!!!

Out of those 4 set-ups, which would provide the smoothest ride along with great looks? Also, if the H&R's are the best, would I have to worry about the 1.75"/1.5" drop being to much for the conditions listed above? I'm probably going to be sticking with 15" rims.

I'd go Pro-Kit and KYB for sure, if it was me getting between those set ups.

I have the Pro-kit & AGX's on my 91 si. Great ride & handling w/ the sways & tie bars. Check out H&R's cup kit for matched springs & shocks.

I checked out the H&R Cup Kit springs and they seem great. The price is perfect ($606 for my car at tirerack.com), but they say it has a 2" front drop and a 1.75" rear drop...would this amount of drop be too extreme for a daily driver or would it be just about right? The conditions around here aren't too extreme...we do get snow, some moderate dips, etc.

That should be fine, just take the dips slow, and at an angle if nessacery. :cool: I have my car "2 drop all around, and no real problems yet to speak of.

Personally I would go no more than a 2" drop for streeet. Like Y2K said take slow and at an angles - 1 tire at a time if its that bad.

Too bad tire rack wont lend me a Cup Kit so I can compare to the Eibach Pro-kit & KYB- AGX's. Maybe some sweet talking & they'll hook it up. Our shop is a Tire Rack installer damnit! Then I'll want some H&R coilover to compare & KEEP!:bigthumb:

I can vouch for the H&R and Illumina combo. Rides awsome, looks great.
